Happy New Year from the Loveall Group!  We spent 2022 growing the Loveall Group, in between many basketball games and sporting events with our kids, and we have been busier than ever.  The last year saw unprecedented growth in our area and we feel blessed to have helped so many families find new homes.   Southwest Florida has seen close to a 25% increase in residents over the last 10 years, according to the 2020 census.  And the area has eclipse the 1 million resident mark.  With a new need for additional entertainment venues, this tremendous growth has attracted many businesses to set up shop in Southwest Florida.  Here are some of the things we are excited to do in Southwest Florida in 2023.

  1. Rooftop at Riverside – Bonita Springs has seen enormous growth over the last year.    The downtown area continues to thrive and attract new businesses.  One that we’ve been watching very closely is Rooftop at Riverside!  It is the first food truck park in Lee County and will have 8 food trucks, a game area for the kids, a two story bar, and lots of seating.  It will be the perfect place to hang out with family and friends and enjoy the beautiful Florida weather.  We’re most excited to take the entire family out to dinner and everyone gets to choose what type of food they want.  They anticipate opening Summer of 2023 and it’s sure to be an instant success.  To follow along on their progress or to apply to be a food truck vendor go to https://eatdrinkparadise.com/
  2. Fort Rock Climbing Center – Fort Rock isn’t actually brand new, they opened in June. But we haven’t had a chance to visit yet, so they are still new to us.  Fort Rock is an indoor rock climbing gym that offers bouldering and climbing terrain.  Although we love Southwest Florida, we have always missed some of the outdoor activities that are in other parts of the country.  Matt especially misses the time he spent in Colorado hiking and climbing.  Fort Rock offers climbing for all ability levels and has classes.  And with 4 very active kids, it will be a great family outing. Fort Rock is in South Fort Myers, off of Alico Road. For more information go to https://fortrockclimbing.com/
  3. Sports Challenge America – Another new venue is coming to Bonita Springs. Sports Challenge America is a first of it’s kind Sports Complex.  We are looking forward to seeing what it will look like when it’s done, but we do know it will have basketball, bowling, and golf.  Along with indoor sports simulators, including golf and tennis.  The are located on Bonita Beach Road (near the old dog track), and we’ve heard they plan to open sometime early 2023.
  4. New Restaurants – Of course, all the new people moving to SWFL need places to eat and there are so many new restaurants opening soon. In fact, there are too many to mention them all.  Here are just a few that we are looking forward to visiting; Waffle Monkey and the new Lake Park Diner, both in Bonita Springs; and PJK Neighborhood Chinese and Lola 41 in Naples.  There are also a plethora of chain restaurants from around the country making their way to SWFL including, Chicken Salad Chick, Qdoba, and Donato’s, just to name a few.
  5. Great Wolf Lodge – In reality, the Great Wolf Lodge in Naples isn’t opening until 2024. But we’re still excited for the indoor water and adventure parks!  Looking forward to many family stay-cations at The Great Wolf Lodge.

The Loveall Group will stay on top of all the local events and happening throughout the year.  To get updates on what’s happening around town, as well as in our business make sure to follow us on Facebook @LoveallGroup and Instagram @theloveallgroup.
